Installation

From WordPress Plugin Directory (Recommended)

Search for tahc

In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New and search for "tahc".

Install the plugin

Find "tahc - AI Hybrid Chat" and click Install Now.

Activate

Click Activate to enable the plugin.

Or install directly from wordpress.org/plugins/tahc-ai-hybrid-chat.

Manual Installation

If you prefer to install manually:

Download the plugin

Get the latest version from wordpress.org/plugins/tahc-ai-hybrid-chat or tahc.ai/wordpress.

Upload to WordPress

Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and select the zip file.

Activate

Click Install Now, then Activate Plugin.

Configuration

After activating the plugin:

Open tahc settings

Go to Settings > tahc in your WordPress admin.

Enter your Workspace ID

Find your workspace ID in your tahc dashboard under Settings > Widget.

Save changes

Click Save Changes to activate the widget.

The chat widget will now appear on all pages of your WordPress site.

Troubleshooting

Widget not appearing

  1. Check that the plugin is activated
  2. Verify your workspace ID is correct
  3. Make sure your domain is whitelisted in tahc dashboard
  4. Check for JavaScript errors in browser console
  5. Try disabling caching plugins temporarily

Conflict with other plugins

If you experience conflicts:

  1. Disable other chat or popup plugins
  2. Try switching to a default theme temporarily
  3. Clear your site cache

Updating the Plugin

The plugin updates automatically like any WordPress plugin:

  1. Go to Plugins in your admin
  2. If an update is available, you'll see a notice
  3. Click Update Now

Always backup your site before updating plugins.

Uninstalling

To remove the plugin:

  1. Go to Plugins
  2. Deactivate the tahc plugin
  3. Click Delete

Your tahc account and conversations are not affected by uninstalling the plugin.

FAQ

Does it work with page builders?

Yes! The plugin works with Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, and other popular page builders.

Can I use it on a staging site?

Yes, add your staging domain to the allowed domains list in your tahc dashboard.

Is it compatible with caching plugins?

Yes, but you may need to exclude the widget script from caching. Most plugins handle this automatically.

Does it support multisite?

Yes, activate the plugin on individual sites or network-wide.
